About the Founder

Hi, I’m Tameshia. I created the Becoming Well Journal from my own experience with GLP-1 therapy and my background in root cause health. As I moved through that journey, I saw the gap firsthand.

Most tools lacked clinical depth or failed to reflect the whole-person experience. They missed health history, behavioral patterns, and the lifestyle factors that shape medication response and long-term success. What was available offered disjointed data without integration or context, leaving people to piece together complex treatment alone between provider visits.

But here’s what I also noticed: the people using these tools were feeling overwhelmed by side effects, confused about their symptoms, and wondering if they were doing something wrong. They were trying to make this medication work for them but deserved more than generic trackers that reduced their experience to just another data point with no real connection to the bigger picture.

I believe everyone deserves the knowledge and support to build a foundation for lifelong body literacy. When you can interpret your body’s signals, you gain the confidence to make informed decisions and care for yourself with clarity and autonomy, not just relying on prescriptions or outside advice to define your health. The Becoming Well Journal was designed to make that possible. It’s a guiding companion that bridges the space between appointments and builds the self-awareness needed to interpret what your body is communicating.

My studies in nutrition and functional medicine guide how I create resources that translate knowledge into real-life application. Each one is designed to be transformational, accessible, and empowering, supporting you as you take an active role in your health.

I pray this journal brings you clarity, deeper connection to your body, and the confidence to trust yourself and make choices that honor your well-being.

May you continue Becoming Well.
